Deception Pass, day 4

October, 2017

An early morning walk.

This morning’s walk around Cranberry Lake was so very beautiful and peaceful and perfect.  Except for these three photos above, I enjoyed the entire 40 minute walk without even taking the camera out of the bag.

Click on the photos to enlarge them.

Here is a link to information about Cranberry Lake.  More photos from later in Day 4 will be in the next post.

wow, you could have taught Ansel Adams a thing or two!

  2. Tim in Montana says:

My wife does photography and was wondering if the pictures you took are really black and white or are they color pictures that you turned into black and white. She says you are really good and I agree.

Thanks for asking Tim. The photos above are untouched, not photo-shopped or changed in any way except maybe for a tiny bit of cropping. The whole world seemed magically black and white that morning. As the morning wore on, then a bit of color started to appear so the third photo has some color in it. Tell your wife thank you from me. 🙂
