The news!

The news these days, oh my word! Well, ok, let’s not talk about the news these days. We need some laughs. We need some joy!

So along those lines, let me share some headlines from newspapers from a few years ago.

Newspapers used to publish the news, accurately and precisely. Right? Well, maybe not so much. Here are some newspaper headlines from years ago that send a message that’s possibly not quite what the authors intended. Hope you get some chuckles out of them. I did. 🙂

I especially like that last one. What?!?! Who would have known!?

In my life, there have been three newspaper articles that included details about me or about my participation in an event. Not one of the articles was even close to accurate! Sigh. How can we believe anything? Nevertheless, some of these headlines are pretty funny. 🙂

Let’s share a chuckle now and then. 🙂 I try to find a reason to smile, and even laugh, every day, and I’m pretty much always successful. I hope you are too! Blessings and peace to all of you folks reading along on my journey here. You’re the best.

Find joy … remember to find joy, and then let it fill your heart.

LOL! I can’t pick a favorite, but I sure liked the laughs, that helps. Thank you.

With a title like “the news!”, I was afraid this would be some terrible news for you. Ha! You tricked me. 🙂 This was fun. Laughed out loud at the second to the last one about the 800 pound ball falling on the guy’s head.

I don’t watch the news, or I’d have a melt down! But this “news” is super. As misleading and mis-worded as it is, it’s still just plain funny. I can’t pick a favorite. Lots of them!!! Thank you. 🙂
